to support Breast Cancer Care.
About breast cancer care
Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide charity providing specialist support and tailored information for anyone affected by breast cancer. Their clinical expertise and emotional support network help thousands of people find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer.
This year Palmer’s is working to make a difference at the heart of Breast Cancer Care services to help make women #FeelSpecial by supporting their Moving Forward courses. These courses are designed to support women who have finished their breast cancer treatment, and are entering the process of rebuilding their lives and confidence, which can often be a struggle for those affected by the disease.
As part of this partnership, Palmer's launched a #FeelSpecial gifting roadshow to cover 14 major cities of the UK where the Moving Forward Courses are held. Palmer’s Pamper Hampers were presented to women attending the courses as a surprise at the end of the course.
Palmer's hopes the gesture of gifting these special women will help them #FeelSpecial and in some small way help them rebuild their confidence again. #FeelSpecial
Breast Cancer Care Moving Forward Courses:
Whether you are experiencing side effects of treatment, wondering how to adopt a healthier lifestyle or finding it hard to make sense of your breast cancer experience - some people struggle to get back to ‘normal’ after their treatment for breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Care Moving Forward courses provide information, support and professional guidance on how to cope with and adjust to life after breast cancer treatment.
The courses cover a series of topics related to physical and emotional well being and the sessions are delivered by a range of expert speakers.
Run in partnership with NHS hospitals, these courses usually take place over half a day for four weeks.
